NJTTC team places first in America Team’s Table Tennis Championship

WESTFIELD – Not many can say they won a championship title, but far fewer can say they won the title four years in a row.

The New Jersey Table Tennis Club (NJTTC) team, including head coach Jack Gao and his four players, Bo Wen Chen, 19, Tian Ye, 20, Bojun Zhangliang, 21 and Yichi Zhang, 24, did just that.
The team competed and secured its fourth consecutive victory in the America Team’s International Table Tennis Championship held in Rockford, Illinois May 26-27.

The international table tennis competition gathered hundreds of competitors from more than 10 countries, including China, South Korea, Brazil, Poland, Japan, Russia, and Germany.
